The Solution™ Bifocal lens design is well suited for the presbyopic patient whose:

• distance refractive error is between -10.00D and +6.00D
• near power addition is between +0.75D and +3.50D
• with-the-rule astigmatism between 0.50D to 3.00D diopters

The Solution Bifocal is a unique translating gas permeable lens design with one-piece construction providing monocentric optics.

Utilizing the principles of alternating vision, the Solution Bifocal provides patients with natural vision. Similar to the patients own visual system, both eyes function at distance and near at the same time by alternating the line of sight between the distance optics in the top portion of the lens and near optics in the lower part. The image jump patients experience when they change their view from the distance to near optics of other bifocal lenses is virtually eliminated with this monocentric design. Additionally, the prism ballast positions the near segment inferiorly, stabilizing the vision.
